General course information

Levels & placement
Levels A1 to C2 (CEFR). Before you arrive, you take an online placement test of about 45–60 minutes. Your teacher then sees you in class for at least two lessons and, if another level suits you better, we discuss it with you before moving.

Two timetables, same course, same 20 lessons a week:

  • Morning. 08:30 to 11:45, Monday to Friday.
  • Evening. 18:00 to 21:15, Monday to Friday.

Speaking, listening, grammar and vocabulary, mixed in a way that actually sticks.

Start any Monday and stay from 1 week to long-term study, subject to programme and visa requirements. Explore long-term study

Progress tests every 4 weeks, or earlier if your teacher thinks you’re ready. At the end of your course you receive a teacher report and a Certificate of Attendance.

Progress isn't tied to the calendar

Our teachers are energetic, creative, professionally trained and genuinely interested in the people in front of them. Their job is to notice what you can do, where you’re struggling and what the class needs next.

After 11:45

Your learning day doesn't end in the classroom

Activities run regularly: guided tours, social meets, beach visits, country walks, sports, wine tasting and trips to Gozo and Comino. Selected LC-organised experiences can earn Experiential Learning Hours.

Your first Monday: arrive 30 minutes early for registration and induction, then go to class. Later that day, join the Orientation Walk and Welcome Party to get your bearings and meet other students.

Is 20 lessons a week actually enough to improve?
Yes, especially over three weeks or more, with regular progress checks along the way.
Nothing but the clock. Same course, same 20 lessons, same progress checks, just a different time of day.
A short online test, then your teacher confirms it in class on day one, morning or evening.
Sometimes, depends on availability. Ask your teacher or the Academic team.
Still works. You get placement, lessons and a report at the end, no matter the length or timetable.
